about

Founded in 2014, People Zoo positively popped onto the scene with their first (and currently only) ‘Pint Sized’ night, where audiences were treated to 3 short plays, all for the price of one long play. Bargain!

After this initial peak came a plateau, a period of introspection. Questions were asked. ‘Who am People Zoo?’, ‘Why is we?’, ‘Is Clare really ditching us?’ and many more equally pertinent queries.

But now, ladies and gentlemen, the introspection section is over. People Zoo are on the rise, like the proverbial partridge, nobly fluttering forth from the pear tree once the seasonal festivities are over.

We know who we are. We Are People Zoo.

Values

Humility - Pretension is not our style. We will get things wrong and we're ok with that.

Diversity - We will exist as a diverse team of people from all backgrounds both

on and off stage. Our differences make us better.

"From the start it has been the theatre's business to entertain people ... it needs no other passport than fun."
